Trong khuôn khổ hợp tác giữa THPT Chuyên KHTN với City University of Hong Kong (đây là trường tốt trên thế giới nằm trong top 200-300 của thế giới), nhà trường cần tiến cử 03 học sinh xuất sắc muốn xin học các ngành của City University of Hong Kong vào năm học 2020-2021. Thông tin về học bổng và điều kiện như sau:

1. Scholarship Awards

1.1.   CityU will provide up to ONE (1) Top Scholarship, ONE (1) Full Tuition Scholarship and ONE (1) Half Tuition Scholarship awards to the qualified graduates of HUS.

1.2.   The values of scholarship awards are: 

(i)

Top Scholarship:

HK$180,000 (approximately US$23,000) per year, covering the annual tuition fee, university-managed accommodation and partial living expenses#;

(ii)

Full Tuition Scholarship:

HK$140,000 (approximately US$18,000) per year, covering the annual tuition fee;

(iii)

Half Tuition Scholarship:

HK$70,000 (approximately US$9,000) per year, covering half of the annual tuition fee.

# The Scholarship shall be paid by off-setting the student’s tuition fee and student residence fee (for double occupancy for two semesters in each academic year), with the balance of the scholarship to be paid to the student’s bank account.

1.3.   The scholarship awards are tenable up to four years (up to six years for the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme (BVM)), subject to an annual review of the student’s academic performance. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 is required for renewing the scholarship award in each subsequent year of study at CityU.

2. Eligibility

2.1.   An eligible nominee must be a current final year graduating student from HUS and of Vietnamese nationality.

2.2.   The nominee should be a current or expected high-achiever at Vietnamese National High School Graduation Examination and is applying for a full-time Hong Kong government-funded undergraduate programme at CityU for the next academic entry.

2.3.   In order to apply for the scholarship awards, nominee should fulfill the respective academic achievements as follows:

2.4.   The award(s) of scholarship to nominee(s) applying to BVM programme will be subject to evaluation of both academic and interview performance

Nominees should also fulfill all other programme-specific entrance requirements, including the required English proficiency examinations, as stated by CityU (visit CityU Admissions Office’s homepage at http://www.admo.cityu.edu.hk/intl/international/entreq/ for details).
